The images on this site are from a local pizza chain here in Dallas called "Cane Rosso".
Images came from their site, their online ordering menu, and from flickr. Menu items and descriptions came from their menu as well.
About this Site
I, Jeff Parente, created this site as my final project in my Advanced Website Design and Management course at the University of Denver. The course focused on client-side development, and every page in the main navigation had to meet various requirements, based around a fictional restaurant.
To summarize briefly:
- The home page had to utilize an image carousel API
- The about page had to utilize the google maps API
- The menu page had to utilize AJAX to acquire the page content. Javascript to render the acquired data into HTML (styled with CSS). And use Local Storage to save or use the information in the future.
- The gallery page had to utilize a flickr API to pull images, and then render them into a gallery with javascript.
- The contact page had to make use of the jQuery Form Validation plugin and display feedback to the user about the validity of input information.
